The Australian Open has only just concluded, but the likes of the French Open and the US Open are already hitting the headlines.

ATP number one Jannik Sinner has been banned for three months, but he can return in time for the French Open.

Martina Navratilova says the Sinner ban ‘stinks’, with the decision from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) dividing opinion within the tennis world.

The US Open meanwhile has already come under the spotlight despite being the last Grand Slam of 2025, with the mixed doubles event moved to opening week.

Aryna Sabalenka wants to play US Open mixed doubles, but she will be eyeing French Open and Wimbledon success long before then.

World number ones Sinner and Sabalenka both have three Grand Slam titles to their names, with Novak Djokovic leading the way for such successes among current players.

The Serbian boasts a stunning 24 Grand Slam titles, level with Margaret Court and one ahead of Serena Williams.

But Djokovic does find himself slightly further down the list for the best win-loss ratio on the ATP Tour when it comes to Grand Slam tournaments.

Topping the pile is six-time Grand Slam champion Don Budge thanks to his 58 wins and five losses, as per the ATP Tour.

His fellow American Bill Tilden, a 10-time Grand Slam winner, sits second on the list with 114 wins and 13 losses.

An International Tennis Hall of Fame member, Budge was the first player to complete the calendar Grand Slam.

With more matches, of course, come more opportunities to lose, hence the likes of John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors finding themselves outside the top 10.

Current world number one Sinner currently occupies 31st spot with a 68-18 record, with Carlos Alcaraz way up in 14th thanks to his 64-12 record.

But given their stunning feats, the Big Three of Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal somewhat unsurprisingly make the cut.

Both Sinner and Alcaraz will be aiming to improve their Grand Slam records as the years go on, but repeating such heroic feats will be very difficult.
