Novak Djokovic just won his 101st ATP title at his final tournament of the 2025 season.
Djokovic won the Hellenic Tennis Championship in Athens to claim his latest title victory, which was only his second of the 2025 season.
The Serbian had one more tournament on his schedule, but Djokovic withdrew from the ATP Finals to officially end his season.
Sinner would go on to win the ATP Finals, and there is another Italian player who has also won more titles than Djokovic this year.

Luciano Darderi: The ATP player who has won more titles than Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev in 2025
Luciano Darderi is that player, with the 23-year-old winning three titles in the 2025 season.
The Italian had only won one title before this season, but Darderi has been able to quadruple that this year after adding three more trophies to his cabinet.
As a result, this has enabled Darderi to climb to a career-high ranking of world number 26, although he has never surpassed the third round of a Grand Slam tournament.
Only three players have won more titles than him this year, with Darderi winning more titles than seven of the current top 10 including Djokovic and world number three Alexander Zverev, with the latter only winning one title in 2025.
All three of Darderi’s titles have come on clay courts this year, suggesting that he could be a real dark horse at the French Open next year.
However, in his two previous appearances at the clay court major, Darderi has only won one match.
| ATP Players with the most titles won in 2025 | Number of titles |
| Carlos Alcaraz | 8 (2 Grand Slams, 3 Masters 1000, 3 ATP 500) |
| Jannik Sinner | 6 (2 Grand Slams, ATP Finals, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 500) |
| Alexander Bublik | 4 (1 ATP 500, 3 ATP 250) |
| Felix Auger-Aliassime | 3 (3 ATP 250) |
| Luciano Darderi | 3 (3 ATP 250) |
Who is the highest ranked player on the ATP Tour without a title?
Darderi has won three titles all just this year, but there is a current player ranked inside the world’s top 15 who has never won an ATP Tour title.
That player is Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the world number 14 who is still looking to end his title drought.
There has been some real heartbreak this year for Davidovich Fokina, who has lost four ATP finals in 2025.
This includes two finals where Davidovich Fokina had championship points that he was unable to capitalise on.
Davidovich Fokina is still not the highest ranked ATP player ever not to win a title, but the Spaniard will still be hoping to lift some silverware in 2026.
