Alexandra Eala had three big tennis goals when she was just 15 years old, one of which she has already achieved.

She takes on Dayana Yastremska in the first round of the WTA 1000 tournament, where she is making her debut.

Alexandra Eala said she wanted to win Grand Slams and become No. 1
During her third year of training at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Eala told the International Tennis Federation: “The main goal is to become a full-time professional, to win Grand Slams and to become world No. 1.
“Right now, I like to think of my smaller goals.
“Improving my women’s ranking, and just continuing to improve on the things that I need to improve right now.
“There’s a lot of room for improvement, I think!”
Five years later, she has, of course, become a professional tennis player, with Eala now a regular fixture on the WTA Tour.
But she may understandably have to wait some time to win Grand Slam titles and make it all the way to world number one.
Currently ranked 32nd, Eala has a career-high rank of 31, but has yet to win a WTA title, never mind at Grand Slam level.
