Wimbledon is rapidly approaching, with Serena Williams and Venus Williams both set to compete at the tournament.
Teaming up in doubles, Serena Williams and Venus Williams are certain to attract huge crowds at the All England Club.
The Williams sisters will play at Wimbledon after receiving a wildcard for the Grand Slam, which returns to the calendar later this month.
It’s a really wise decision from the tournament to bring back the iconic WTA duo, although Wimbledon has been left with a big dilemma elsewhere regarding both players.
How far will Serena Williams and Venus Williams go at Wimbledon?
They’ve won six Wimbledon doubles titles together…
Wimbledon faces Serena Williams and Venus Williams dilemma
The majority of the initial wildcards have been confirmed, with the legendary sisters undoubtedly the most high-profile names on the list, across all formats.
Notably, however, while all seven of the women’s doubles wildcards have been selected, one spot remains open in the women’s singles list.
Seven of the eight wildcards in the format have been announced, with French Open finalist Maja Chwalinska joining six British players with direct entry.
But a dilemma has now been presented with the final wildcard, for which Serena and Venus are certain to be battling it out.
They are arguably at the very top of the list of potential candidates for the pick, with organizers possibly left debating over who deserves it more.
Along with their six doubles titles at the tournament, Serena boasts seven singles titles, while Venus has claimed five.
Of course, the tough choice could be avoided altogether by handing the final Wimbledon wildcard to another player entirely.

Wimbledon attendees and indeed tennis fans in general are set for a very exciting women’s doubles event given the presence of the Williams sisters.
And that excitement has already been spreading around the WTA Tour, with Naomi Osaka sharing her delight on social media.
The former world number one shared their wildcard decision on her Instagram story, adding the words: “And I will be seated.”

Of course, the rest of the field will be filled with top doubles pairings, who could go one of two ways against Venus and Serena.
The formidable duo could either prove to be too daunting on the other side of the court, causing even the top doubles players to falter at costly times.
Or it may go the other way entirely, with players wanting to up their games and be the team that knocks out the six-time Wimbledon doubles champions.
With a combined age of 90, perhaps not much can be expected from the American legends, but they will be desperate to avoid an early exit at the iconic Grand Slam.
