Jack Draper will return to action at Flushing Meadows this week as he makes his fourth appearance at the US Open.
After featuring at the newly reimagined mixed doubles tournament, where he will play alongside WTA star Jessica Pegula, the Briton will kick off his singles campaign in the hope of returning to the semifinals.
Draper reached the final four in New York last year after a phenomenal run in which he did not drop a set.
He earned victories over the likes of Botic van de Zandschulp, Tomas Machac, and Alex de Minaur before ultimately falling to eventual champion Jannik Sinner.
With plenty of ranking points to defend and a maiden Grand Slam title to capture, Draper will be determined to go far in the Big Apple this time around.

Jack Draper’s hopes of returning to the semifinals at the US Open
His preparations for the US Open have not gone as we would have planned, however, having missed the entirety of the North American hard-court swing so far due to a left arm injury.
The star sustained the injury after Wimbledon and took to X in July to announce he would withdraw from both the Canadian Open and the Cincinnati Open.
With well over a month separating his second-round exit at Wimbledon and his next competitive match at the US Open, Draper may take time to readjust in his opening rounds.
The world number five could really do with a favourable draw at the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year, so he can ease his way into the tournament after such a long period without tour-level matchplay.
After picking up one or two comfortable wins, Draper should be able to find his groove again on the surface he has seen the most success on so far in his career.
He displayed what he is capable of on hard court earlier this season when he clinched a maiden ATP Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells, and as the US Open develops, he will look to emulate his form from the first half of the ‘Sunshine Double’.

Jack Draper’s results at Grand Slams so far this year
After securing his best finish at a Grand Slam last year, Draper would have hoped to go one step further at majors this season, but it has not quite happened for the 23-year-old in 2025.
At the Australian Open, he struggled to get through his first three rounds and ultimately had to retire due to physical issues after going down two sets to Carlos Alcaraz in round four.

Draper enjoyed a promising French Open campaign, with big wins over Gael Monfils and Joao Fonseca, but lost again in the fourth round to Alexander Bublik.
He had his worst major run this year at Wimbledon, suffering defeat in front of a home crowd to Marin Cilic in the second round at the All England Club.
With just one more to go, Draper will look to finish the Grand Slam season with a bang at the US Open.
