The North American hard-court swing is set to get underway next week at the Washington Open as the build-up to the US Open begins.
Following the ATP 500 event will be two Masters 1000 events, the Canadian Open and the Cincinnati Open, before finally, the fourth Grand Slam event of the year at Flushing Meadows.
The heavy favourite for the US Open title this season is defending champion Jannik Sinner, having emerged victorious in all of the last three hard-court majors.
Rivalling the Italian will be world number two Carlos Alcaraz, who will hope to make a drastic improvement on his 2024 campaign in New York, which ended abruptly in the second round.
Outside of the ‘new two’, it’s hard to see anyone else hoisting the trophy at the Arthur Ashe Stadium come September, but one player on the tour, currently in red-hot form, might be poised to produce an upset.

With his victory in the Swiss Open final in Gstaad, world number 34 Alexander Bublik has now won 19 of his last 22 matches.
Bublik was having a largely disappointing first five months of his 2025 season, crashing out in the early rounds of several events.
In May, the Kazakh dropped down and played a Challenger event in Turin, where he finally felt the euphoria of winning a title once again, clinching the trophy after defeating Yunchaokete Bu in the final.

The triumph marked a turning point for Bublik, who then recorded his best-ever finish at a Grand Slam, reaching the quarter-finals of Roland Garros before losing to Sinner.
He got his revenge on the world number one later in June, however, defeating him en route to his first ATP title of the season at the Halle Open, which he won for the second time in his career.
Now with six tour-level crowns to his name, Bublik is on a roll and will look to take his scintillating form into the hard-court season.

Following his victory in the Halle Open final over Daniil Medvedev, Bublik gave an emotional on-court interview.
He said: “It’s tough to speak. I had such tough months from last Wimbledon till this summer.
“I was close to calling it quits after Wimbledon because I was not enjoying it anymore.
“I promised my coach that I will stay there, that I will keep practicing, and after Wimbledon, we will make a decision if I need to take a couple of months off before trying to come back.
“And now this is happening. Quarters at the French, winner here. I have no words.”
The 28-year-old defeated Medvedev in the championship match to secure his second title on grass.
