The winner of the French Open 2024 was the dominant force in women’s tennis, Iga Swiatek of Poland.

In a commanding display on the Parisian clay, Świątek defeated first-time Grand Slam finalist Jasmine Paolini of Italy in straight sets, with a score of 6-2, 6-1.

This victory was particularly significant as it marked Swiatek’s fourth French Open title, adding to her victories in 2020, 2022, and 2023.

This triumph also saw her secure her fifth Grand Slam singles title overall, solidifying her position at the top of the women’s game.

Notably, with this win, Swiatek became the first woman since Monica Seles and Justine Henin to win three consecutive Roland Garros singles titles in the Open Era.
