Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic meet in the 2024 men’s singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, so The Tennis Gazette looks at all you need to know about how to watch it.

The grass court season comes to a close in SW19 this weekend as Alcaraz bids to become a back-to-back Wimbledon champion. He edged No5 seed Daniil Medvedev 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in the semi-finals to return to the Centre Court showpiece a year after winning his first title.

Wimbledon has become accustomed to crowning repeat winners of its men’s title in recent decades. Just Roger Federer (8), Rafael Nadal (2), Djokovic (7), Andy Murray (2) and Alcaraz have won it since 2003. No3 seed Alcaraz even finished No2 Djokovic’s four-in-a-row streak.

Djokovic will now seek revenge on Alcaraz for his 2023 Wimbledon men’s singles final loss in 2024. The Serbian edged No25 seed Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 7-6, 6-4 to win their semi-final tie, despite Djokovic entering this summer’s tournament amid fears around his knee injury.

A quarter-final bye thanks to Alex de Minaur withdrawing from their last-eight tie with a hip injury helped Djokovic advance at Wimbledon this year. Now, the men’s singles final in 2024 gives the 24-time Grand Slam winner a chance to add to his 3-2 career record over Alcaraz.
