With the second week of Wimbledon just around the corner, we are already getting dangerously close to the business end of the competition.
We have been treated to some stunning matches, a plethora of enthralling comebacks, so many upsets and, just generally, a fine level of tennis for nearly a full week now.
Whilst the top three players in the world for the men remain in the competition, only Coco Gauff is still alive for the women, in a draw which is absolutely wide open and ripe for the taking.
So, with so much at stake, and so much to potentially gain, there are a number of storylines swirling around day seven of Wimbledon.
Key storylines to follow on Day Seven of Wimbledon 2024
However, the outstanding match of the day undeniably comes on Court One, with Jannik Sinner facing off against Ben Shelton.
The world number one has barely been troubled during this event, but his compatriot Matteo Berrettini showcased how he could be got at.
This big-serving American certainly has the game to trouble the Italian. Hopefully, he can retain focus to compete.

Meanwhile, Grigor Dimitrov will face Daniil Medvedev for the 11th time in their careers, which is sure to be an entertaining clash.
Emma Raducanu’s return to centre court is an exciting one, whilst an all-American affair between Gauff and Emma Navarro will follow.
This certainly promises fireworks.
