Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka have both arrived at Wimbledon as they prepare for the next Grand Slam in the calendar.
Sinner enters Wimbledon as the number one player on the ATP Tour, with Sabalenka holding the same status on the WTA Tour.
But Sinner lost in the Halle round of 16 ahead of his trip to Wimbledon, while Sabalenka fell in the semi-finals in Berlin.
Those defeats arrived after both players lost their respective French Open finals, with the Italian losing to Carlos Alcaraz and the Belarusian losing to Coco Gauff.
Since then, Alcaraz has triumphed at Queen’s, with the Spaniard also representing the winner of the last two Wimbledon finals.

Who won the Wimbledon practice challenge between Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka
But Sinner and indeed his fellow world number one Sabalenka have been in a very relaxed mood ahead of another attempt at Grand Slam success.
In fact, they played against one another at SW19 in a practice challenge, whereby the winner was the first to knock over a tennis ball can sitting in the middle of their opponent’s half of the court.

And after several forehand and backhand attempts from both players, it was WTA star Sabalenka who knocked over Sinner’s can first.
Her side celebrated the victory, with the Italian’s side of the court forced into doing press-ups as a forfeit.
