Jacob Fearnley is a male professional tennis player who made his breakthrough facing Novak Djokovic in the second round of Wimbledon in 2024.
Fearnley received a wildcard for The Championships and made the most of it by winning his first-round match to kick off the 2024 edition of Wimbledon.
It meant he got the opportunity to try and pull off one of the biggest upsets in modern Wimbledon history against 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic.

Fearnley made his ATP Tour debut as a wildcard at the 2024 Eastbourne Invitational. He faced compatriot Billy Harris in the first round and lost 4-6 6-7 (7-9). That was his only ATP Tour match prior to Wimbledon 2024.

Fearnley received a wildcard entry into Wimbledon after winning the ATP Challenger title at the 2024 Nottingham Open.
He played world number 172 Alejandro Moro Canas in the first round and won 7-5 6-4 7-6 (14-12). But he fell to a 6-3, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 defeat to Djokovic to see Fearnley’s Wimbledon debut cut short.
