Emma Raducanu is a female professional tennis player who shocked the world by winning the 2021 US Open title.
Raducanu’s professional tennis journey began at Wimbledon 2021 where she was handed a wildcard entry despite being ranked outside the top 300.
She reached the fourth round at the historic grass court tournament and won over the British public as a result.
Raducanu’s dream start to her career then took another leap as she lifted the 2021 US Open trophy, becoming the first qualifier in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam.
