Emma Navarro is a female professional tennis player who beat then-world number two Coco Gauff in the fourth round at Wimbledon 2024.
Before the 2024 WTA Tour season, Navarro had played in just four Grand Slams and had only won one match – coming at the 2023 French Open.
However, 2024 proved to be a turning point in the American’s career as Navarro made the third round at the Australian Open, the fourth round at Roland Garros the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and the semi-finals of the US Open.
She also beat Naomi Osaka and Gauff on the famous grass courts at Wimbledon 2024. Yet Navarro was not one of the more high-profile players on the WTA Tour before the season, but that all changed.
The Tennis Gazette tells you everything you need to know about Navarro, including her profile, world ranking and college career.
