Emma Raducanu will want to get back on track during 2025 after enjoying a pretty positive 2024 when it comes to the fitness side of things.
Since winning the US Open as a rank outsider in 2021, Raducanu has had a number of surgeries and that has hampered her ability to kick on.
Raducanu missed three of the four Grand Slam events in 2023 and barely played across the year, setting her back considerably in the way of world rankings.
Right now, Raducanu is down at 58 in the WTA rankings but Tim Henman has predicted that to be a lot higher in 12 months time.
Ahead of 2025, Raducanu has actually made a change to her team and for the first time, it’s been discussed.

What Yutaka Nakamura has said about Emma Raducanu
The Japanese coach is a renowned strength and conditioning expert who has worked with a number of top tennis players in the past.
Perhaps his most memorable period came when he was in the corner of Maria Sharapova as she dominated tennis for seven years.
More recently he’s worked with players such as Naomi Osaka on the WTA and Kei Nishikori and Denis Shapovalov on the ATP Tour.
In her latest column for Sky Sports, Gigi Salmon has claimed that she recently got the chance to speak with Nakamura and it appears he’s excited.
It’s claimed that he told Salmon, ‘She is a lovely person, a really good person’.
Raducanu still has what it takes to win more major titles
At Wimbledon when Raducanu defeated Maria Sakkari there were flashes of her brilliant best – but in losing to qualifier Lulu Sun, some fatigue crept in.
This is perhaps where Nakamura can help Raducanu as she bids to get back to her brilliant best and get herself in a position to win more titles.
Raducanu still has so much unearthed potential and with a new man on the coaching team, perhaps this can be an exciting period for the Great British star.
