Mirra Andreeva has made a winning start to her French Open campaign after beating Cristina Bucsa.
Andreeva reached the French Open semi-finals last year, which remains her best Grand Slam result to date.
This is the first time the teenager has played a major tournament as a top 10 player, with Andreeva one of the French Open favourites this year.
Despite a comfortable first round victory, Andreeva has admitted that she found something particularly challenging.

What Mirra Andreeva found ‘very difficult’ about her first match at Roland Garros
Andreeva and Bucsa’s match was first scheduled onto Court Suzanne-Lenglen on day three of the French Open.
This court is scheduled to begin play at 11am in Paris, meaning that it was an early wake-up call for Andreeva.
When speaking to former world number two Alex Corretja after her victory, Andreeva admitted that she did not enjoy playing first on and detailed her schedule prior to the match.
“Honestly it’s very difficult,” said Andreeva. “When I play first match I’m not really happy (laughs), because I don’t like to wake up early.
“So today I had to wake up at 6:40, yes then I had 35 minutes to pack my bag and do everything. Then I had 25 minutes to have breakfast, then we had 30 minutes to come here, then I spent 11 minutes in the locker room and then we did the warm-up and went on court, so it’s very well planned.”
Who is Mirra Andreeva playing next at Roland Garros?
Andreeva will now progress to the second round of the French Open, where she will play American Ashlyn Krueger.
Krueger has just won her first ever match at the French Open, with the 21-year-old beating Suzan Lamens to do so.
Andreeva will be familiar with this name, as Krueger beat her in straight sets in the second round of the US Open last year.
Krueger has not found so much success on clay in her young career, but does have a top 10 win on hard courts against Elena Rybakina from earlier this year.
Andreeva does not know what time she will be playing her second round match on Thursday May 29, but she will be hoping for a bit of a later start.
