Novak Djokovic is one step closer to clinching a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title after overcoming Cam Norrie in four sets.
In the night session at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Djokovic defeated Norrie for the seventh consecutive time, beating the Briton 6-4, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3.
The Serb has now reached the fourth round at a Grand Slam event for the 69th time, equalling Roger Federer for the most of any player in the Open Era.
With his victory over Norrie, Djokovic, along with two other ATP stars, has made history at Flushing Meadows.

History made in the third round of the 2025 US Open
The 38-year-old will face Jan-Lennard Struff in the next round, who knocked out home hope Frances Tiafoe in straight sets.
Djokovic, Struff, and Adrian Mannarino, who advanced via a walkover against Ben Shelton, have achieved something at the US Open that has not been seen in 43 years.
With the treble of stars making their way into the next stage, three players aged 35 or older have made it to the fourth round in New York for the first time since 1982.
The last three to accomplish the feat were Jaime Fillol, Robert Lutz and Ilie Nastase that year.
Novak Djokovic’s route to the 2025 US Open final
With three wins in the bag, Djokovic needs just four more to lift his first Grand Slam title since the US Open in 2023.
Should he come out on top against Struff, the 24-time major champion will face one of Taylor Fritz or Tomas Machac in the quarterfinals.
His potential semifinal opponent will likely be world number two Carlos Alcaraz, who looks to have a favourable route to the final four.
If he gets there, the final matchup in the Big Apple could see Djokovic pitted against the defending champion Jannik Sinner, who has beaten him in their last five meetings.
