Carlos Alcaraz is definitely the man to beat in tennis right now, with the Spaniard having just won his third Grand Slam title.
At just 21, the men’s star has already lifted the US Open and Wimbledon trophies, and has just added the French Open trophy to his honours list.
A huge talent on all surfaces, Alcaraz is now switching his focus from grass to clay, with the Queen’s Club Championships up next in the calendar.
The new world number two goes into the gras tournament as the defending champion, and will be very confident of retaining his crown given his current form.
Tennis fans are, however, all in agreement that he faces a very tough task in doing that after the draw was made.

It’s certainly going to be a very busy summer for the Spanish ace, who will soon play Olympic doubles alongside his ‘idol’ Rafael Nadal.
That tournament will take place on the clay of Roland Garros, but the grass of Queen’s and indeed Wimbledon is up first.
And Alcaraz has shown his ambitions to be successful on the surface, with footage of the 21-year-old training on grass emerging on Tennis TV.

The three-time Grand Slam champion is in London at the top of his game, with 25 wins and five losses in 2024 so far, along with two titles.
More confidence comes from the fact he has been bumped up one place to number two in the world rankings, behind only Jannik Sinner.
With their latest moves, the talented duo have become the first pair of 22-and-under players to hold the top two spots since Roger Federer and Andy Roddick in August 2004.
The Italian will be tough to overcome on the grass, but reigning champion Alcaraz will be favourite to clinch another major.
Wimbledon fans witnessed the Spaniard’s immense talent last time out as he beat Novak Djokovic 1-6, 7-6(8-6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
