Carlos Alcaraz has explained that he’s going to try and add one of Rafa Nadal’s top attributes to his own game.
This came after Alcaraz defeated Nadal during an exhibition match that was shown live on Netflix.

Well, this match was certainly a sight for sore eyes, with the Spanish duo serving up a bit of a cracker.
Alcaraz defeated Nadal in a Champions tie-breaker 14-12 after two sets that ended 3-6, 6-4.
After the game, he spoke fondly of the legendary Nadal and thinks there is one attribute that he will try and take from his game.
He told Eurosport: “Playing against Rafa is really special for me. He never gives up on any ball. He runs around every corner of the court.
“I had a few match points before I got it. He made an unbelievable shot. He never gives up.
“That’s something that I try to keep for my game, that mentality he has, finding a solution when things are not going well every time.”
Alcaraz can seriously emulate Nadal during his career
The talented youngster has already got one Grand Slam under his belt with the player winning Wimbledon last year.
He will have more in his sights this year as he aims to start collecting big trophies as freely as Nadal has during his career.
Alcaraz against Nadal was the sort of match that you couldn’t take your eyes off and it’d be great if they could meet at a tournament before Nadal finishes.
At 20, it’s great that Alcaraz has managed to tick a Grand Slam off already and he will now have his sights on Nadal’s haul of 22 major titles.
The world is Alcaraz’s oyster and he has the skills to dominate the game for many years to come.
