The withdrawal list for the Cincinnati Open continues to grow even after Novak Djokovic confirmed he was pulling out.
Djokovic is missing the Cincinnati Open for a second consecutive year, but he is not the only big name missing the tournament.
There have also been some significant withdrawals from the WTA tournament, with Mirra Andreeva now looking to be fit in time for the US Open.
Andreeva is not the only player seemingly struggling with injury, as an ATP player has now also made a last-minute withdrawal from the Cincinnati Open.
Francisco Cerundolo withdraws from the Cincinnati Open
The latest player to withdraw from the Cincinnati Open is world number 24 Francisco Cerundolo.
Cerundolo was forced to retire with an abdominal injury in his fourth round match at the Canadian Open against Alexander Zverev.
It appears that this abdominal issue is still continuing to bother the Argentinian, as he has now withdrawn from the Cincinnati Open.
As the draw for the tournament had already taken place, Cerundolo will now be replaced by a lucky loser.
It is unclear as to how severe this injury problem is for Cerundolo, but he will only lose 10 ranking points from last year.
Cerundolo has played the Cincinnati Open three times before, but he has never won a single match at the Masters 1000 tournament.

Cerundolo is one of many players to have pulled out of the Cincinnati Open this year, with there now being 12 ATP players on the withdrawal list.
The highest ranked player on this list is Jack Draper, who is missing the Cincinnati Open due to an arm injury.
One player is already confirmed to miss the entire North American hard court swing, with Grigor Dimitrov already out of the US Open due to a pectoral injury he suffered at Wimbledon.
Former Cincinnati Open finalist Nick Kyrgios, who has admitted he is approaching retirement, has also withdrawn from the Masters 1000 tournament due to continued physical issues.
