Following her Miami Open exit, Emma Raducanu has received advice from Tim Henman on what to do moving forward.
The 22-year-old’s hard work over the offseason and behind the scenes and that was reflected in her performances in Florida.
The former British number one claimed her first win over a top 10 player on a hard court and reached her first WTA 1000 quarter-final.
The tour is due to move back to Europe next month, it is important Emma Raducanu continues her momentum and builds on her results in Miami.

Tim Henman tells Emma Raducanu what to do next after Miami Open defeat
Raducanu took on Jessica Pegula for a spot in the Miami Open semi-finals.
She pushed the American hard, but in very humid conditions, Pegula claimed a 6-4, 6-7, 6-2 victory to reach her third last four in Miami for the third time in four seasons.
Despite the loss, it was a strong campaign for Raducanu, and Tim Henman has urged her to keep working hard off the court, in order to have more success on it.
“The way she’s strung together these match wins is going to give her huge confidence and it’s just more of the same,” Henman told Sky Sports.
“She just got to keep doing the work in the gym and on the court and on the track and then when she gets out on the tournament stage I think these match wins will continue.”

Tim Henman assesses Emma Raducanu’s performance against Jessica Pegula in Miami
Raducanu and Pegula had beaten each other once before their Miami Open clash.
Like their 2024 Eastbourne International clash, they played three sets in Miami and despite Raducanu clinching yet another tiebreak in Miami, Pegula was better at handling the conditions and producing her best tennis when she needed it most.
Henman was encouraged by the resolve and consistency Raducanu showed in Miami, and assessed her performance against Pegula. “I thought Emma played a really really good match tonight but she just lost to the better player,” he said.
“She fought so hard. The first two sets were very tight and I thought Emma did so well to get that second set she looked a little bit fatigued but she started being more aggressive to try and keep the points shot.
“She looked to take the match to Pegula and when she got that second set you thought ‘well, there’s a chance.’
“But Pegula I think showed her hardcourt experience and she raised her level, and so full credit to Pegula for getting through to the semi-finals. But there’s no doubt that Raducanu will take so many positives from this run in Miami.”
