Carlos Alcaraz made history at the Australian Open by becoming the youngest player in tennis history to complete the Career Grand Slam.
Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic in the final at Melbourne Park, winning in four sets, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5.
The Spaniard has now tied the major tallies of John McEnroe and Mats Wilander following his triumph, with seven to his name.
Who finishes their career on more majors – Alcaraz or Djokovic?
Still just 22 years of age, Alcaraz has a great chance to break Djokovic‘s all-time record of Grand Slams won.
After the conclusion of the final, British tennis legend Tim Henman suggested he is well on his way to doing just that.

Tim Henman discusses Carlos Alcaraz’s future at Grand Slams
When asked on TNT if he can surpass Djokovic’s total of 24, Henman said: “We can speculate as much as we like.
“I think when you reflect on the absolute legends of our sport. You think about Mats Wilander, he won seven majors.
“You think about Stefan Edberg and Boris Becker, they were six majors. John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl.
Are you more or less confident that Novak Djokovic can win his 25th Grand Slam now?
“We are already talking about Alcaraz going way past that. We talked about Pete Sampras when I was playing and he won 14, I would have bet my bottom dollar nobody was going to go past that.
“So it is incredible how high the bar has been set and how we are speculating how Alcaraz is going to go to 20 Slams and is Sinner going to do the same thing.
“Is it unfair? I don’t think so. Is it unrealistic? I don’t think so. It’s going to be enjoyable for us all to watch.”

Carlos Alcaraz joins five legends with Career Grand Slam
Alcaraz became the sixth player in the Open Era to complete the Career Grand Slam, joining an elite list of legends.
Rod Laver, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Djokovic are the only other players who have managed it.
Nadal previously held the record for the youngest in the Open Era to win all four majors, which Alcaraz has now broken.
Alcaraz is also now the player with the fewest main draw appearances to reach 25 ATP titles.
The young star will now set his sights on winning major number eight at Roland Garros, where he is the defending champion.
