Novak Djokovic has only committed to play one more ATP event after the Shanghai Masters.
With just a few months of the season left to go, the stars of men’s tennis are preparing to head over to Europe for a series of indoor hard-court tournaments.
Those include the Vienna Open, Basel Open, Paris Masters, and for players who qualify… The ATP Finals in Turin.

Interestingly, 38-year-old Djokovic may skip all the above, as he continues to play a lighter schedule.
He will, however, play a new ATP 250 event in Athens, the Hellenic Championship.
The Serb will be joined in Greece by another Grand Slam winner, who has just been awarded a wild card.
Stan Wawrinka given a wild card to the Hellenic Championship
Taking to Instagram, the tournament announced three-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka as a main draw wild card recipient.
“Stan Wawrinka returns to the spotlight at the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship 2025 with a wild card for the Main Draw,” they said.
“A three-time Grand Slam winner, Wawrinka is one of the few players to have defeated the world number one in all three major finals.
“With 16 ATP titles and a reputation for one of the most beautiful one-handed backhands in tennis, he continues to inspire with his passion and longevity on tour.
“Now, Athens will witness the elegance of a true modern classic.”
Wawrinka will join Djokovic and a whole host of top ATP stars in the Greek capital.

The Swiss veteran will certainly be up against it as he looks to pick up the 17th title of his career.
When did Stan Wawrinka last win an ATP title?
Wawrinka hasn’t won a tour-level title in eight years and has lost his last four finals.
- 2017 French Open F – Lost to Rafael Nadal
- 2019 Rotterdam Open F – Lost to Gael Monfils
- 2019 European Open F – Lost to Andy Murray
- 2023 Croatia Open F – Lost to Alexei Popyrin
His last title came in 2017 at the Geneva Open ATP 250 event on the clay.
Having won the title a year earlier, Wawrinka returned as the defending champion and number one seed.
Receiving a bye into round two, the Swiss star didn’t have much trouble reaching the quarterfinals, as his Brazilian opponent, Rogerio Dutra da Silva, retired down 5-2 in the first set.

American sixth seed Sam Querrey provided a tougher challenge in the quarters, taking a set off Wawrinka, but eventually came up short in three, 6-4, 5-7, 2-6.
Russia’s Andrey Kuznetsov was next up, but was no match for the home favorite, losing in straight sets, 3-6, 6-7.
Standing between Wawrinka and the title was Germany’s Mischa Zverev, Alexander Zverev’s older brother.
Losing the first set, Wawrinka fought back to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, lifting the title in front of his adoring Swiss fans.
The 40-year-old would love nothing more than to add another trophy to his collection in Athens, but how has he performed so far in 2025?
