The waiting is over and the French Open at Roland Garros is due to get underway today.
For many the chances of glory are there for the taking and it will be fascinating to see how the men’s draw unfolds.
Rafael Nadal has been handed a tough-looking tie with number four seed Alexander Zverev.
Novak Djokovic will face Pierre-Hugues Herbert, whilst Carlos Alcaraz faces JJ Wolf in the first round.
There is also a tie for the ages in round one at Roland Garros as Andy Murray faces fellow veteran Stan Wawrinka.
With some really intriguing ties, we’ve taken a look at the men’s draw and looked at the three seeds that could be in danger of falling at the first hurdle.

Three seeds who could be in danger of first-round exit at French Open
Alex De Minaur (11)
The Australian player has probably underachieved at Grand Slams during his career and he might be in for a shock here.
He’s been handed a tough-looking opening-round tie against United States star Alex Michelsen.
The talented 19-year-old dumped Taylor Fritz out of the Geneva Open last week and his confidence will be sky high.
De Minaur isn’t renowned for his clay court prowess and has never been beyond round two at Roland Garros.
Last year, he was dumped out at the second hurdle by Tomas-Martin Etcheverry and we think he might be in trouble even earlier this year.
Alexander Zverev (4)
It seems crazy to be including the fourth seed in this feature but up against Rafael Nadal, he simply has to be under threat.
No player has won more titles at Roland Garros than Nadal and his 14 titles at this venue make him a tough opponent.
Nadal has managed to stay fit in the build-up to this one and he’s won practice sets against Seb Korda and Stan Wawrinka.
Zverev arrives at the French Open in fine form having won the Italian Open last week.
The 27-year-old has come close to winning a Grand Slam reaching five semi-finals and one US Open final in 2020.
If he’s going to taste success at Roland Garros this time around, he’s going to have to come through an extremely dogged Nadal in round one.
Cameron Norrie (32)
It might sound a bit untoward to pick the player who has reached the third round on his last three visits to Roland Garros.
Furthermore, he’s playing a player who has never won a match at the French Open in Pavel Kotov.
But, Norrie isn’t in particularly good form with his form on clay over the past month or so very patchy indeed.
Kotov on the other hand might arrive with some of his confidence intact having taken Alexander Bublik to three sets last week in Lyon.
He also beat Alex Michelsen in Italy and he could provide some problems for Norrie in this opening-round match.
