Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz dominated the 2024 ATP Tour season, and specifically the Grand Slams.
Alcaraz has been training with Matteo Berrettini ahead of another season, with the Italian having won the Davis Cup alongside Sinner.
Meanwhile, Joao Fonseca has emulated Alcaraz and Sinner, with the 18-year-old becoming the third teenager after the duo to win the Next Gen ATP Finals.
But he has a long way to go to catch Sinner in particular in terms of titles, with the Italian having won eight times in 2024.
He took his career tally to 18 this season, where he won the Australian Open and US Open for his first Grand Slam titles.

Mats Wilander makes ‘very bold’ Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz prediction
Alcaraz meanwhile is not far behind on 16 titles, with his four wins in 2024 including the French Open and Wimbledon.
And both have now been involved in a big claim by Mats Wilander, who was asked by Eurosport for his bold prediction of 2025.
“My very, very, very bold prediction for 2025 is that Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner will win the calendar Grand Slam,” he said.
Laura Robson and Tim Henman leaned towards their nation with their predictions, with the former saying: “Jack Draper is going to be in the final of Wimbledon.”
And the latter meanwhile has predicted: “I would like to see 10 British players in the top 100. I’ll be watching.”
Alex Corretja also shared his verdict: “I would like Novak [Djokovic] to win one more major and share a nice moment with Andy [Murray] after he’s stolen so many majors off him.
Which players have completed the calendar Grand Slam?
Winning all four Grand Slams in a single calendar year has only been done on five occasions, and only once in the Open Era that started in 1968.
Don Budge was the first to achieve the feat back in 1938, with Maureen Connolly then following suit in 1953.
Rod Laver remarkably accomplished the calendar Grand Slam in both 1962 and 1969, becoming the first to do it in the Open Era.
And then it was the turn of Margaret Court and Steffi Graf, who achieved the impressive feat in 1970 and 1988 respectively.
Since then, Novak Djokovic has come agonisingly close on three occasions, winning three finals and losing the other in 2015, 2021 and 2023.
