Novak Djokovic will be looking for a longer campaign in the second half of the Sunshine Double after losing at Indian Wells.
Djokovic lost to Jack Draper in the fourth round of the Indian Wells Open, with the Briton coming back from a set down to clinch the victory.
Is Jack Draper the best player outside of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner?
If not, who is? Let us know in the comments!
The Serb had enjoyed a fantastic start to his 2026 season, having made the final of the Australian Open, where he ultimately fell to Carlos Alcaraz.
Now, Djokovic will have the chance to get back to winning ways at the Miami Open, where he is in search of history.

Novak Djokovic bids to break two records in Miami
Djokovic is currently tied with American tennis legend Andre Agassi for the most Miami Open men’s singles titles in history.
With six to his name currently, a seventh victory in Florida would see him become the outright leader.
Should he emerge triumphant at the Miami Open, Djokovic will also hold the record for the oldest Miami Open winner ever.
Roger Federer currently holds the record, having won the Miami Open in 2019, aged 37 years and 235 days.
Serena Williams picked Roger Federer as the G.O.A.T.
Djokovic last won the Miami Open in 2016, when he beat Kei Nishikori in the final to hold the trophy aloft.

Why Novak Djokovic is so good in the Sunshine Double
Asked in his post-tournament press conference after his 2016 victory why he is so good in the Sunshine Double, Djokovic said: “You know, actually, I spoke to my team about it yesterday, saying that if I look in general throughout my career, the most successful month in the whole season is definitely March and these two tournaments.
“I enjoy probably these two tournaments the most back to back than any other throughout the year. Probably because of the fact that also it’s spread out four weeks, you know, two tournaments.
“You have time to play best of three, have time to recover between matches, time to prepare.
“It allows me to get in this state of mind and optimal state of, you know, physical and emotional harmony that I can actually portray my best when it’s needed.”
Djokovic is currently ranked third in the world, behind Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
