The ATP Masters 1000 series in 2026 has so far been dominated by one man: Jannik Sinner.
Sinner has claimed every available Masters crown this year, dropping just one set throughout his campaigns in Indian Wells, Miami and Monte-Carlo.
At the ongoing Madrid Open, the Italian is looking to make history by becoming the first player to win five consecutive ATP Masters 1000 titles, while not missing any in the calendar.
Novak Djokovic secured five in a row at the level between 2014 and 2015, but missed the Madrid Open during his streak.
Can any of these four players stop Jannik Sinner winning the French Open this year?
Is there anyone else you think could be a threat to Sinner?
While Sinner has been by far the best at Masters tournaments this season, a number of players have also delivered impressive performances.

The players with the most victories at ATP Masters 1000 events
Sinner, who booked his place in the Madrid Open semifinals by beating Rafael Jodar, earned his 21st Masters win this year with the triumph over the Spanish teenager.
The player with the second-most is Alexander Zverev on 14, with the German having reached the semifinals in Indian Wells, Miami and Monte-Carlo.
Zverev lost to Sinner in each of those final-four showdowns, but can avoid him until the final in Madrid should both stars get there.
Arthur Fils, who will attempt to stop Sinner in the Madrid Open semifinals, has claimed 11 wins at Masters tournaments in 2026; the third most on the tour.
Is Arthur Fils a genuine threat to Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner?
The Frenchman achieved his career-best finish at an ATP Masters 1000 event by making the semifinals in Miami.
He can go one step further and make a final if he defeats Sinner in Madrid, which will mark their second career meeting.

Jiri Lehecka has the fourth-most wins at the Masters level in 2026 with 10, largely down to his run to the final at the Miami Open, where he fell to Sinner.
In fifth with nine is Carlos Alcaraz, who has yet to add a Masters title to his collection this season.
Alcaraz made the semifinals of the Indian Wells Open before suffering a shocking third-round exit in Miami to Sebastian Korda.
The seven-time major champion then reached the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters, but withdrew from the Madrid Open due to a wrist injury.
Alcaraz’s last Masters triumph came at the Cincinnati Open last August, when he advanced past Sinner in the final via a walkover.
Sinner has not lost a match at a Masters tournament since Shanghai in October 2025, where he was forced to retire in the third round due to cramping.
