The five ATP players with the most clay court titles since the 2020 season

Luciano Darderi picked up the fifth title of his career at the Santiago Open, continuing his impressive start to the 2026 season.

Darderi, who reached the final of the Argentina Open in February, defeated Yannick Hanfmann in the championship match in Chile, winning in straight sets, 7-6, 7-5.

Now the world number 18 in the live rankings, all five of the Italian’s ATP titles have come on clay courts.

He picked up his first tour-level crown in Cordoba back in 2024, before clinching three titles during 2025 in Marrakech, Bastad and Umag.

Having enjoyed plenty of success on the dirt in recent years, Darderi now ranks fifth in clay titles won since 2020.

Just ahead of him on six clay court titles since 2020 is Sebastian Baez, whose most recent triumph was at the Rio Open last year.

Novak Djokovic has won seven crowns on the surface in the last six years, two of which were clinched at Roland Garros.

His last clay trophy at the 2025 Geneva Open marked his 100th overall, with the Serb becoming just the third man in history to tally a century of titles on the tour, following Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer.

Djokovic’s rival, Carlos Alcaraz, has 11 to his name including two Roland Garros titles, which he won back-to-back in 2024 and 2025.

Alcaraz will be looking to three-peat in Paris this year, a feat only Rafael Nadal and Bjorn Borg have managed in the Open Era.

The player with the most clay-court titles since 2020, however, is Casper Ruud, who has won a total of 12 in that time period.

Ruud has never emerged victorious at Roland Garros, but he has been dominant at clay-court ATP 250s and ATP 500s in recent times.

The Norwegian won a maiden ATP Masters 1000 crown at the Madrid Open last year, where he beat Jack Draper in the final.
