Nick Kyrgios will make his long-awaited return to the ATP Tour in January at the Brisbane International.
Kyrgios has received a wildcard for the Brisbane International tournament, which gets underway early next month.
The ATP 250 tournament takes place shortly before the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the 2026 season.
Kyrgios played just five singles matches on the ATP Tour in 2025, although he did feature in both Brisbane and the Australian Open.

Nick Kyrgios should be warmed up for Brisbane International
Of course, Kyrgios isn’t loved by every tennis fan out there, but the Australian should receive a warm welcome from the fans in Brisbane.
He’ll be playing on home soil, and should be more than ready for the tournament given his exhibition appearances of late.
Who do you think will win the 2025 Battle of the Sexes?
The seven-time ATP champion has been finding his feet again on the court, having had another season massively disrupted by injury.
Now 30 years old, Kyrgios is currently ranked 671st on the ATP Tour, having once climbed as high as world number 13.
Before Brisbane, however, he is set to come under the spotlight in Dubai, where he will play Aryna Sabalenka in a Battle of the Sexes match later this month.
