Serena Williams will continue her extraordinary comeback to tennis at the Berlin Open later this month.
Williams just played doubles with rising star Victoria Mboko at Queen’s, although their venture ended after one match because of an injury to the latter.
They did, however, clinch a victory in their opener, with Williams now hoping for similar success alongside world number 10 Karolina Muchova.
It is a pairing that certainly has tennis fans very excited, with many sharing their delight about the upcoming WTA link-up on social media.

Reacting to the exciting Berlin Open doubles team, one fan wrote on X: “Absolutely love the idea of this partnership. Hope Muchova takes huge confidence from this. She has such a special game.”
And another agreed, saying: “Serena Williams will play doubles with Karolina Muchova in Berlin. They’re going to be a very tough team. Can’t wait for this.”
Others noted: “The GOAT, I can’t wait to watch these two play as a team,” and “If it’s true that Serena is pairing up with Muchova next week in Berlin for doubles, we can confidently say they will be big title contenders.”

What is Karolina Muchova’s WTA doubles record?
Williams is, of course, famed for her singles record, but she has also enjoyed a phenomenal doubles career.
That includes 23 titles and a rise to world number one, with the American claiming 14 Grand Slams alongside her sister Venus Williams.
Meanwhile, her next partner Muchova also boasts a fine singles career, with two titles won and a career-high rank of eight.
In contrast, the Czech ace has yet to win a doubles title, and is currently three places off her career-high rank of 156.
But she has a 44-35 record in the format, and managed to reach the 2024 Olympic semifinals alongside Linda Noskova.
