Taylor Fritz has set up a blockbuster US Open semi-final with his win over Alexander Zverev.
A rematch of the Wimbledon fourth-round clash from earlier this year, in which the American once again came out on top, the match went as many predicted, with few breaks of serve and plenty of lung-busting rallies.
However, buoyed by the crowd, he had enough to get it over the line.
He has since spoken about the atmosphere and how it affected him throughout the match.

Speaking to reporters after his historic win over the German, which catapulted him into his first-ever Grand Slam semi-final, Taylor Fritz was unsurprisingly buoyed.
After all, he had more than earned his spot in this stage, where he will now face Frances Tiafoe for the right to contest for the trophy.
Combing through his game, the 26-year-old sought to walk the press conference through exactly how he was feeling at various points during the match.
He then revealed: ‘I came out really feeling good and ready to play. In a lot of my previous quarter-finals I have come out nervous but today I felt good from the start and ready to go.
‘I think maybe I got more nervous as the match went on as I felt he was playing points a little bit tight, it almost caused me to play a little bit tight too.
‘But I came up with a lot of serves when I needed them and played some big points really. I’m super pumped to make it into my first semi.’

Whatever happens when Fritz and Tiafoe clash later this week, we are guaranteed to have one American in the men’s US Open Grand Slam final for the first time since 2005.
Were someone to win it, it would be the first time any American has won any Grand Slam since Andy Roddick in 2003.
This barren run is extraordinary given the plethora of tennis talent this country has at its disposal, but at last we are seeing these promising individuals develop from challengers to contenders.
The head-to-head between these particular Americans is hugely in favour of Fritz, who has won six of their seven meetings, and in fact the only time that Tiafoe has ever won a clash between them was way back in 2016.
However, having already dumped out one big-serving compatriot in Ben Shelton, he knows exactly what it takes.
Frustratingly for him though, it seems his fine form and all-action brand of tennis just might not be enough to overcome Fritz, who has such a supremely well-rounded game now that is so hard to break down.
