Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur are now part of history after reaching the championship matches of their respective tournaments.
Fritz has been battling through injury at the Dallas Open this week, where he has reached the final for the first time after beating Marin Cilic.
While the American has been competing in Dallas, Alex de Minaur has reached the Rotterdam Open final for a third consecutive year.
De Minaur will be hoping that it is third time lucky for him in Rotterdam, but he has already helped make ATP history this week.

Both Fritz and De Minaur are the top seeds at their respective ATP tournaments this week, and have been able to make it all the way to the final.
In their finals they will also play the second seed at their tournament, with Fritz taking on Ben Shelton, while De Minaur will play the in-form Felix Auger-Aliassime.

As well as both the Dallas Open and Rotterdam Open taking place, there is also an ATP 250 event in Buenos Aires.
The final of this tournament also sees the top two seeds come head-to-head, as Francisco Cerundolo goes head-to-head with Luciano Darderi for the title.
All three ATP tournaments this week feature the top two seeds in the final, which is the first time this has happened since 1981.
In fact this has only happened two times before, with the only other example of this being in October 1980.
Who is the best ATP player never to win a Grand Slam title?
Is it Alexander Zverev, Marcelo Rios, Tomas Berdych, David Ferrer or maybe even someone else?
What happened the last time three sets of top seeds reached ATP finals in 1981?
In the week of October 19, 1981, there were ATP tournaments in Melbourne, Tokyo and Vienna.
All three of these tournaments had the top two seeds in the finals, which included a 21-year-old Ivan Lendl in the championship match in Vienna.
Top seed Lendl would beat Brian Gottfried to win the Vienna title, while fellow top seed Peter McNamara would win the tournament in Melbourne.
However, in Tokyo it was second seed Balazs Taroczy who would come out victorious after beating Eliot Teltscher in the final.
| ATP Tournament | Champion | Runner-up |
| Melbourne | Peter McNamara (1) | Vitas Gerulaitis (2) |
| Tokyo | Balazs Taroczy (2) | Eliot Teltscher (1) |
| Vienna | Ivan Lendl (1) | Brian Gottfried (2) |
It will be intriguing to see whether the three finals in 2026 follow the same pattern as they did over 44 years ago.
The finals of the tournaments in Rotterdam, Buenos Aires and Dallas will all take place on Sunday, February 15.
