Stefanos Tsitsipas will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing season on the ATP Tour in 2025.
Amid injuries, poor performances and coaching changes, the Greek star’s ranking plummeted from 11th to 36th.
He did manage to win a tour-level title in Dubai last year, but failed to go far at the biggest tournaments, particularly at Grand Slams.
Tsitsipas has already picked up a win in 2026, which he managed at the United Cup against Japan’s Shintaro Mochizuki.
The triumph marked a positive start to the campaign for the former world number three, who has a big goal for the end of the season.

In an interview on the United Cup YouTube channel, Tsitsipas said: “Professionally speaking, I would like to see myself in a Grand Slam final.
“It doesn’t matter which Grand Slam. That’s my New Year’s resolution. I want to be fit, get healthy and, at some point in the year, compete in a Grand Slam final again.

“I don’t want to wait for opportunities. I want to create them myself.”
Tsitsipas’s last trip to a Grand Slam final came in 2023, when he reached the championship match at the Australian Open.
There, he met Novak Djokovic, who defeated him in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6, 7-6.

Tsitsipas did not make it past the second round of a Grand Slam last season, and suffered two first-round exits, the first of which came in Melbourne.
He was beaten by Alex Michelsen in his opening match at the Australian Open, falling to the American in four sets.

At Roland Garros, Tsitsipas managed to get a win over Tomas Martin Etcheverry, but lost to Matteo Gigante in round two.
Tsitsipas’ Wimbledon campaign was his first and only Grand Slam run with Goran Ivanisevic in his corner, and it ended in the first round when he retired due to injury against Valentin Royer.
He won his first match at the US Open, but lost to Daniel Altmaier in a tough second-round five-setter.
