Stefanos Tsitsipas has endured one of his worst seasons on the ATP Tour in 2025.
The former world number three has seen his ranking plummet this season to as low as 30th in the world, having started the year 11th.
At Grand Slams, Tsitsipas has failed to make it past the second round, crashing out in the early stages of all four majors.
Amid poor form, he has changed coaches twice, with the Greek star appointing Goran Ivanisevic after the French Open before re-hiring his father, Apostolos Tsitsipas, following an unsuccessful spell with the Croatian.
The results have not got much better for the 27-year-old since reuniting with Apostolos, however, and now Tsitsipas is dealing with injury issues in his back.
After his short-lived appearance at the Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia, Tsitsipas has now been handed more bad news ahead of his indoor hard-court season.

For Tsitsipas, however, his first-round opponent comes in the form of the fourth seed, Lorenzo Musetti.
Should Tsitsipas advance past the Italian, he will still have to battle past the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Corentin Moutet, both of whom are in his quarter.

Tsitsipas leads the head-to-head with Musetti 5-2, though the world number eight has won both of their most recent bouts.
The two first clashed in the 2021 Acapulco semifinals, where Tsitsipas emerged victorious in straight sets.
In their sole Grand Slam meeting, Tsitsipas also came out on top, triumphing over Musetti in a five-set first-round thriller at the 2022 French Open.
This year, Musetti has beaten Tsitsipas twice, besting him in the quarterfinals of the Monte-Carlo Masters, and again in the round of 32 at the Madrid Open.
Six of their seven meetings have come on clay, and now the two will meet for just the second time on hard court, and for the first time indoors.
