Great Britain tennis star Dan Evans made a winning return on comeback and he was praised by Pete Odgers afterwards.

It’s been a tough few months for Evans who hadn’t played before today since tearing his calf at the Vienna Open in October.
Today the Birmingham-born player defeated Rinky Hijikata 6-3, 6-4 to set up a clash with Alexander Bublik in the next round of the Adelaide International.
After his victory, he was praised for his performance by Sky commentator Odgers who has noticed a change in the player’s game.
He said live on Sky Sports: “I think his coaching team will focus on that. Last year when he went through some rough patches he beat himself up too quickly in matches when they just started to turn against him, in terms of those missed opportunities, it just started to get to him.
“It was really impressive from Dan Evans. He’s doing a lot of damage with the first serve and he was proactive with the second. He will know against Bublik he will probably need better numbers on the break points, just two from 11 today.”
Evans will be delighted to make winning return
The 33-year-old has reached a career-best fourth round at the Australian Open and he will hope to go well when the tournament starts next week.
Returning from injury means there will be a lower expectation on him this time around and match practice ahead of the showpiece event will be key.
Evans would surely relish another win when he faces Bublik and the more matches he can get under his belt at the moment can only help him.
The Great Britain star was knocked out in the first round in two of the majors last year and he will be keen to reset this season.
Odgers has already noticed a change in Evans during his comeback win and it will now be fascinating to see how he goes against a tougher opponent in Bublik.
