Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz shared many great moments on the court, both as rivals and teammates.
Nadal does not miss tennis since retiring, having decided to call time on his glittering career late last year.
Alcaraz meanwhile is at the other end of his career, although he is currently out of action due to a leg injury.
Nadal’s fellow Spaniard Alcaraz is certain to shine on clay in his absence this season, with the former having once dominated on the surface.
The ATP number three has already won the Monte Carlo Masters and lost the Barcelona Open final, with the French Open rapidly approaching.

Rafael Nadal makes big Carlos Alcaraz prediction that he really believes
Alcaraz already boasts four Grand Slam titles at the age of 21, with the Australian Open the only such title missing from his trophy cabinet.
And Nadal, who won 22 Grand Slam titles, has now predicted further success for his compatriot, having discussed the comparisons between himself and Alcaraz.
“All of us received the pressure from the media and from the hope that people have about you, but I think at the end, we are humans and we know how to handle that,” he told CNN.
“I don’t think for Carlos it’s a big deal holding that pressure. He’s a great player and has a great family behind (him).
“I think he’s doing great and he’s having an amazing career and he’s going to win much more if he stays out of injury – that’s the most important thing. I wish and I really believe that he’s going to have one of the best careers of all time.”
Rafael Nadal says what he thinks of Jannik Sinner’s doping case
Nadal also took time to discuss world number one Jannik Sinner, who is currently serving a three-month doping ban.
Sinner is expected to return to competitive action early next month on home soil at the Italian Open in Rome.

He won’t miss any Grand Slam tournaments despite the ban, which started after he won the Australian Open and will end before the French Open.
Sharing his verdict on the Italian, Nadal said: “I don’t have a clear opinion, first of all, because I don’t have the whole information.

“First of all, I 100% believe that Jannik is innocent. I don’t think at all that Jannik wanted to do something that is not allowed, so I 100% believe in Jannik.
“From my point of view, I really don’t believe that Jannik, because he’s the No. 1 in the world, received different treatment than another person, from my perspective and from my understanding.

“I really believe in the process, I have been there going through all the tests for 20 years, how the things are strict on every single movement… and I believe in the process.
“I can’t say another thing and I can’t think another way because, if not, I will think that we are not in a fair world, and I really believe that we are in a fair world in this matter.”
