Jack Draper claimed a huge win over Alexander Bublik today and afterwards, he found two words to describe his opponent.
The player was speaking to Sky Sports after his 7-6, 6-4 victory at the Adelaide International.
So, what has Draper said about Bublik? Let’s take a closer look…
What Jack Draper has said about Alexander Bublik
This is a big win for the Great Britain star against the player currently ranked number 33.
Draper is now through to the final of the Australian Open warm-up tournament and will face Jiri Lehecka tomorrow.
Despite a comprehensive victory over Bublik, Draper found time to praise his opponent after the match.
He told Sky Sports: “I’m very proud of myself. It was a tough match today against a guy who is very unpredictable, put it that way.

“He is great for tennis, it’s really fun to play him and watch him play. It’s not a good mix when you have a guy serving 130mph and you can’t see the ball because the sun is coming on the court. But I wish him all the best.”
Draper hoping to walk on new ground at Australian Open
Reaching the final at the Adelaide Open could be a godsend for Draper as he bids to improve on recent slam performances.
Draper – ranked number 62 in the world – will face American player Marcos Giron in the first round of the Australian Open which starts on Sunday.
The 22-year-old has never won a match at the Australian Open, losing at the first hurdle in 2023 to Rafael Nadal.
This year, the draw has been far kinder and Draper now has a big opportunity to win a match at the Grand Slam.
The left-hander is clearly happy with his win over Bublik and in our view, it represents a positive step in the right direction.
Hopefully, Draper can lift the Adelaide International crown and then take his form into the Australian Open next week.
