Novak Djokovic has won pretty much everything there is to win in tennis throughout his legendary career.

The Serb, still going strong at the age of 38, has won the most Grand Slam titles of any player in history, and has the third-most ATP crowns of all time.

Djokovic has completed the Career Grand Slam and the Career Golden Masters, having triumphed at each of the four majors and all nine ATP 1000 tournaments.

Who is the greatest male tennis player of all time?

Until 2024, the only prize that eluded him was an Olympic gold medal, having failed to clinch one in four appearances.

At the Paris Games that year, Djokovic finally achieved the feat, which ranks at the top of his accomplishments.

Novak Djokovic reflects on winning the Olympic gold medal in Paris

In an interview with Esquire, Djokovic said: “Olympic gold was a lifelong dream for me. I went to four Olympic Games, and for a long time that medal was missing.

“To win in Paris, at 37, representing Serbia, is without question one of the greatest moments of my career.

“Standing there, singing the national anthem, holding the gold medal – it’s a feeling that stays with you forever, not just in your memory but in your whole body.

Who will retire with more Grand Slam titles – Carlos Alcaraz or Novak Djokovic?

Let us know why in the comments!

“I’ve never experienced emotions like that on a tennis court before. The tears just came, naturally. It was very pure, very powerful.

“But I don’t feel like I’ve ‘completed’ tennis,” concluded the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

Records Novak Djokovic has still yet to break

Though he is arguably the most accomplished tennis player of all time, there are still a number of records Djokovic has yet to break, which he is still capable of managing.

One of which is the record for the most tour-level titles of all time, currently held by Jimmy Connors, who claimed 109.

In second place all-time is Roger Federer with 103, while Djokovic trails in third, having captured 101 crowns.

Djokovic is also one Wimbledon title away from tying Federer’s record for the most trophies won at the All England Club.

Though he has the most majors in the Open Era, Djokovic needs one more to surpass Margaret Court and become the outright leader across men’s and women’s history.
