Novak Djokovic is feeling very good about his chances of success heading into the Geneva Open final.
The 37-year-old accepted a late wildcard into the ATP 250 tournament to try and play some more matches on clay before heading into the French Open.
It is mission accomplished for the Serbian has reached his first final of the season after beating Cam Norrie in three sets.
Standing in Djokovic’s way of a historic 100th ATP Tour title is Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz, who is also competing for his first title of the season.

Novak Djokovic says he has ‘good news’ ahead of the Geneva Open final
Novak Djokovic has dropped just one set on the way to reaching the Geneva Open final.
He has rediscovered his form following a disappointing run since contesting the Miami Open championship match in March.
Prior to competing in Geneva, Djokovic had not won on clay since the 2024 Olympics. But with Roland Garros right around the corner, he has found a higher level of play at just the right time, which pleases the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
“I think in general maybe a seven or an eight,” Djokovic said regarding where he rates his game currently. “At times at the end of the third set I think it was a nine or a 10. I think the third set was the best set I have played in this tournament.
“That’s good news for me, a good feeling because I’m going into the final with more confidence. Unfortunately I didn’t use the match point from the second set tie break but it’s going well anyway.
“I was at that moment a little nervous. I was not free in exchange for attacking the balls. I was a little conservative but in the end I found my best game again at the start of the third set.”

Novak Djokovic aims to maintain his unbeaten record against Hubert Hurkacz in Geneva
Djokovic and Hurkacz have both played their way into form in Geneva following underwhelming seasons so far.
The Pole had been dealing with knee and back injuries since last year and he slid down the rankings as a result of his time off court.
But he is slowly getting back to his best and his thunderous serve will be a challenge for Djokovic to overcome.
However, he has defeated Hurkacz in all seven of their previous meetings and in what will be the first contest since 2023, Djokovic hopes to make it eight in a row.
