Novak Djokovic remains on track for a 25th Grand Slam title after reaching the fourth round of the French Open.

Djokovic is motivated by the Olympics, but his current focus is on the French Open, a tournament he has won on three occasions.

The Serbian is the sixth seed at Roland Garros this year, and is into round four without dropping a set in his first three matches.

Djokovic beat Mackenzie McDonald 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 in round one, before defeating Corentin Moutet 6-3, 6-2, 7-6(7-1) in round two.

And the 24-time Grand Slam champion has just knocked out Filip Misolic, winning their round three meeting 6-3, 6-4, 6-2.

And that win is significant for more reasons than one, primarily helping the veteran reach the last 16 of the French Open.

As per OptaAce, he has now reached the round of 16 in at least two Grand Slam events across 20 seasons, the most in the Open Era alongside Roger Federer.

Djokovic, who just won his 100th ATP Tour title at the Geneva Open, now takes on Cameron Norrie in Paris.

It was certainly hard to predict how Djokovic would perform at the French Open, with the Serbian having endured a roller-coaster season so far.

He suffered back-to-back opening defeats at the Monte Carlo Masters and Madrid Open, but quickly recovered to triumph in Geneva.

During that event he overcame Norrie, winning their semi-final clash 6-4, 6-7(6-8), 6-1 before beating Hubert Hurkacz in the final.

The Serbian and the Briton are now reunited at the French Open, and it is Djokovic who should be confident of a win given their record.

They have met five times on the ATP Tour over the years, with the 24-time Grand Slam champion winning all five of those matches.

But Norrie will be on a real high going into the match, having knocked out 11th seed Daniil Medvedev in round one.
