Novak Djokovic will soon continue his pursuit of a 25th major title at this year’s edition of Wimbledon.
The Serb, now 39 years old, has featured in just four tournaments in 2026 so far, two of which have been Grand Slams.
Djokovic reached the final of the Australian Open back in early February, but bowed out in the third round of Roland Garros.
How would you rate Novak Djokovic’s chances of winning Wimbledon?
Tied with Margaret Court on 24, Djokovic is attempting to become the outright all-time leader in major titles, and he is also looking to tie Roger Federer‘s record tally of eight Wimbledon crowns.
While he is one of the favourites to go all the way in SW19, the legend has not been handed the most favourable of draws.

Novak Djokovic’s draw at Wimbledon 2026
Djokovic’s Wimbledon path starts relatively easy, with Wu Yibing being his first-round opponent, followed by either qualifier Hugo Gaston or struggling Stefanos Tsitsipas in round two.
In the third round, Djokovic will likely take on Arthur Rinderknech, but there is a strong chance he could bow out at the next stage.
Potential fourth-round assignments for Djokovic include 12th seed Andrey Rublev and, most notably, his Roland Garros conqueror, Joao Fonseca.
Which Grand Slam title would you like to see Joao Fonseca win?
Fonseca, who has been tipped as the next big star in men’s tennis, earned the biggest win of his career at the French Open over Djokovic, coming back from two sets down to beat him in the third round.
The victory marked a turning point in the 19-year-old’s journey, who until that point had yet to announce himself at the Grand Slam level.
Fonseca went on to reach the quarterfinals at Roland Garros, his best result at a major to date.
Should he and Djokovic make the fourth round at Wimbledon, the teenager will pose a huge threat to the latter’s chances of clinching major number 25.

Joao Fonseca’s results since the 2026 French Open
After recording an impressive French Open campaign, Fonseca’s grass-court season has been, admittedly, quite poor.
He has played just one match in singles on the surface heading into Wimbledon, which came at the Halle Open.
Fonseca suffered a heavy defeat in his opening Halle clash, losing to Yannick Hanfmann in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
The Brazilian star did make a run to the final in doubles at the tournament, though, alongside Daniel Altmaier.
Fonseca then withdrew from the Eastbourne Open due to a right shoulder injury, later stating his goal was ‘to arrive at Wimbledon in the best possible shape’.
