Nick Kyrgios had hoped to play Wimbledon in 2025, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.

The 30-year-old picked up an injury before the grass-court season, which led to Kyrgios withdrawing from Wimbledon.

Kyrgios had already skipped the French Open in June as fans await the Aussie’s return to Grand Slam action.

Kyrgios has enjoyed real success at those tournaments over the years, winning the Washington Open on two occasions and reaching the Cincinnati Open final in 2017.

If he can recover from injury in time, what better place to return than Washington, a tournament Kyrgios has won twice before.

Regardless of where he returns, Kyrgios will no doubt hope to start racking up the wins on the ATP Tour before too long.
