Nick Kyrgios had hoped to play Wimbledon in 2025, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.
The 30-year-old picked up an injury before the grass-court season, which led to Kyrgios withdrawing from Wimbledon.
Kyrgios had already skipped the French Open in June as fans await the Aussie’s return to Grand Slam action.
Working as a pundit for TalkSport at Wimbledon this year, the 2022 finalist continues to be involved with tennis.

It may not be too long until we see him back on the court, however, as Kyrgios now reveals when he plans to return.
Nick Kyrgios plans to return for the US hard-court swing

“Well, I was supposed to be back for Wimbledon, but I had a bit of a knee niggle three weeks ago, so just trying to get back for the US swing,” said Kyrgios.
“I think we’re both in the twilight of our careers, but look, I really want to come back, I’m hitting the ball great.
“Had a bit of a session today, feeling good.”

The US swing Kyrgios is referring to begins in Washington later this month and finishes at Flushing Meadows in September.
