Novak Djokovic reached his 51st Grand Slam semi-final after beating Alexander Zverev at the French Open.

The Serbian continued his quest for a record 25th Grand Slam title by defeating the German in four sets under the lights on court Philippe Chatrier.

The 38-year-old came from a set down to defeat Zverev and keep his quest for a fourth Roland Garros crown alive.

But his next match will be his toughest yet, as Djokovic will take on top seed Jannik Sinner for a place in Sunday’s final.

On Friday, Novak Djokovic and Sinner are due to face one another in the French Open semi-finals.

This is one of the blockbuster matches on the ATP Tour and fans are preparing to witness a classic between the two competitors.

The pair have faced one another on one previous occasion at a Grand Slam, which came at the 2024 Australian Open.

That day Sinner claimed a four-set win and handed Djokovic his first loss at Melbourne Park since 2018.

Fans are making their predictions about who will emerge victorious and Nick Kyrgios, who has faced both players, gave his thoughts on the potential outcome.

“I think he can but I think Sinner will be a heavy favourite. Sinner is a monster man,” the 2022 Wimbledon runner-up said on Instagram Live.

Kyrgios played Sinner on one occasion back in 2022 at the Miami Open.

The Italian claimed a 7-6(3), 6-3 victory to move into the quarter-finals, and Kyrgios has since recalled his experience of that match and how powerful Sinner was.

“Just actual tennis, let’s say this. When I played Sinner in 2022,” the former World number 13 explained.

“I played everyone pretty much and in the warm up when you are just hitting you can feel the energy off their racket, you can feel how hard they hit the ball.

“With Sinner I was warming up and I was like what’s all the fuss about this kid? Then I was hitting and I could feel it off my racket. I was like this guy has got serious power. I think he is a monster.”
