“I take it a week at a time. After this I’m going to Washington, that’s all I know right now. Not too sure about much more than that, but we’ll see how we go.”

Nick Kyrgios’ results at the Washington Open over the years
Kyrgios has won seven singles titles in his career so far, two of which have come at the Washington Open.
He fell in the opening round of his Washington debut back in 2017, but two years later he won the tournament for the first time.
Kyrgios dropped just one set en route to clinching the title there in 2019, beating the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev.
After a first-round exit in 2021, Kyrgios emerged victorious in the American capital once again in 2022.
Fresh off a run to the Wimbledon final, Kyrgios beat Tommy Paul and Francis Tiafoe on his way to hoisting the trophy in Washington that year.
He has not appeared in singles at the Washington Open since then, having dealt with a number of injuries over the past few seasons.
