Nick Kyrgios will continue his comeback in both singles and doubles at the Halle Open.

Kyrgios has played a very limited schedule in recent years after struggling with knee, wrist and foot injuries, and had not played any match since the Australian Open until the grass court season.

However, after returning to the ATP Tour in Stuttgart, Kyrgios won his first singles match in 15 months against Corentin Moutet.

Kyrgios also played doubles with Alexander Bublik in Stuttgart, but he will have a new partner for the Halle Open.

Nick Kyrgios will play with Mattia Bellucci at the Halle Open

Kyrgios has received a wildcard to play in both the singles and doubles draws at the Halle Open this year.

The former Wimbledon semi-finalist will be playing alongside Italian Mattia Bellucci, in a first-time partnership with Kyrgios.

Kyrgios and Bellucci will be up against an all-American pairing in the first round, as they face Learner Tien and Ethan Quinn.

This is not the only eye-catching new pairing in the Halle Open doubles draw, as Ben Shelton and Flavio Cobolli are also joining forces for the first time.

Roland Garros champion Alexander Zverev is also playing in the doubles draw alongside Marcelo Melo.

Nick Kyrgios has a blockbuster first round match in singles at the Halle Open

As well as both playing in the doubles tournament, Kyrgios and Shelton will also face one another in a blockbuster first round singles match at the Halle Open.

This will be a first-time meeting between Kyrgios and Shelton, who are two of the biggest servers on the ATP Tour.

It will not get much easier for Kyrgios if he is able to overcome Shelton, with the likes of Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Karen Khachanov also in his half of the draw.

The main draw of the Halle Open will get underway on Monday, June 15.
