Iga Swiatek added another title to her collection last time out in Korea.
The Polish star picked up her third title of the season when Swiatek defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova 1-6, 7-6, 7-5 in the final of the Korea Open.
Swiatek had previously won titles at the Cincinnati Open and Wimbledon earlier this year, and now joins Aryna Sabalenka as the only other player on tour to have won a Grand Slam, WTA 1000, and WTA 500 in 2025.

She has already amassed an impressive collection of trophies and, at just 24 years of age, may continue winning titles for years to come.
Following her latest title win, Nick Kyrgios’ coach, Simon Rea, has predicted how many titles Swiatek will win before she retires from tennis.
Simon Rea can ‘comfortably’ see Iga Swiatek winning another 50 WTA titles
Appearing as a guest on ‘The Tennis’ podcast, Rea suggested how many more titles he believes Swiatek will win in her career.
“I think she can claim another 50 titles,” he said.
“It’s easy to sit here and throw the number out. The remarkable part is looking at some of the numbers around those great champions of our sport and how many titles they’ve collected over the journey.”
Swiatek currently has 25 titles to her name, but would close in on some of the sport’s greatest players if she won another 50.
Players with the most WTA title wins (Open Era)
- 1. Martina Navratilova – 167
- 2. Chris Evert – 154
- 3. Steffi Graf – 107
- 4. Margaret Court – 92
- 5. Iga Swiatek – 25 (+50) = 75
- 6. Serena Williams – 73
- 7. Evonne Goolagong – 68
- 8. Billie Jean King – 67
- T-9. Virginia Wade – 55
- T-9. Lindsay Davenport – 55
Rea then explained how Swiatek can win 50 more titles before the end of her tennis career.
“That’s the hard part, getting to work and fulfilling the 50,” he said.
“But I think she could average five titles a year for the next decade. I can comfortably see that.

“She’s such a force on the clay courts. And I think we are seeing her improve on the faster surfaces, I reckon she’s a better version this year on faster hard courts than she was 12, 24 months ago, for sure.
“She’s continuing to improve, to evolve her game. I reckon she can average five titles a year, and that’s not easy to do for the next decade. I reckon she can get to mid-70s and beyond.”
Rea believes she has what it takes to win another 50, but which titles has she won so far?

Simon Rea believes Iga Swiatek can complete the Career Grand Slam at the 2026 Australian Open
For all the titles Swiatek has won in tennis, she has yet to emerge victorious at the Australian Open.
Still needing a win in Melbourne to complete the Career Grand Slam, Rea has now assessed her chances of getting the job done in 2026.
“If she can win at Wimbledon, she can win at Melbourne Park for sure,” he said.
“I wouldn’t have her favorite, going in right now, but I’d have her in the top handful.
“I would’ve said that Wimbledon would be the Slam that would challenge her the most, so to be as dominant as she was on that day against [Amanda] Anisimova, if she can conquer Wimbledon, she can conquer the blue hard courts at Melbourne Park.
Only time will tell if Swiatek can finally get her hands on the Australian Open title in 2026, but it will definitely be worth tuning in for.
The 2026 Australian Open will begin on Monday, January 12.
