Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev will no longer be reuniting their mixed doubles team at Indian Wells.
Andreeva and Medvedev played together at the US Open mixed doubles event last year, and were set to partner up again for the exhibition in Indian Wells.
However, this has now changed after Medvedev won the Dubai Tennis Championships, with the former world number one delayed in getting to Indian Wells due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East.
Although Medvedev has withdrawn from the mixed doubles event, Andreeva will still be featuring as her new partner has now been announced.

Following Medvedev’s withdrawal from the mixed doubles event, Andreeva will now play with world number 10 Alexander Bublik.
While Bublik has found a lot of success on the singles court over the past 12 months, he has only won one of his last 11 doubles matches.

Medvedev is not the only ATP player who has been stuck in Dubai, with Andrey Rublev also unable to travel to Indian Wells yet.
Rublev was supposed to partner Amanda Anisimova, but he has now been replaced by American Learner Tien.
Andreeva and Medvedev, and Anisimova and Tien will join the lineup for the Eisenhower Cup mixed doubles event which also features defending champions Elena Rybakina and Taylor Fritz, and Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud.

The remaining teams for the mixed doubles exhibition are Jessica Pegula and Tommy Paul, 2024 winners Emma Navarro and Ben Shelton, Leylah Fernandez and Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Jasmine Paolini and Matteo Berrettini.
These eight teams will all compete for a $200,000 prize on Tuesday, March 3.

Although Medvedev and Rublev have withdrawn from the Indian Wells mixed doubles event, they are both expecting to travel to California together for the singles tournament.
They are both in the newly revealed singles draw, but have some extra time as seeded players receive an automatic bye to the second round.
Medvedev has not been happy with the Indian Wells courts in the past, and he will play either Alejandro Tabilo or Spanish wildcard Rafael Jodar in his opening match.
The first seeded player Medvedev could play is Jiri Lehecka, who he has lost his two matches against.

Rublev will play Gabriel Diallo or Mattia Bellucci in his second round match, with a third round encounter against ninth seed Auger-Aliassime looming.
