Jannik Sinner is well on his way to becoming one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
The Italian, still just 24 years of age, already has a total of 24 ATP titles to his name, four of which are Grand Slams.
Sinner has also spent 66 weeks as the world number one, while delivering a number of jaw dropping matches along with his rival, Carlos Alcaraz.

Luciano Darderi discusses Jannik Sinner as a person
In an interview with Clay, Darderi said: “He’s friendly, he’s not what he seems. He’s a good guy, good family, very calm, he jokes and everything.
“Yes, obviously when we’re playing or training he’s focused. Once we trained in Dubai and for two hours he didn’t say a word.
“But I think that’s professional, not personal. Inside the locker room he’s very funny.
“Jannik is a good person,” concluded Darderi, who is on the verge of cracking the world’s top 20, currently 21st.

Darderi has faced Sinner on the ATP Tour just once in his career, with the sole bout coming earlier this year.
The two countrymen met in the fourth round of the 2026 Australian Open, where Sinner was seeking to three-peat.
Despite Darderi forcing him to a late tiebreak, Sinner won the match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3, 7-6, to advance to the quarterfinals.
Sinner earned another straight sets win over Ben Shelton in the last eight at Melbourne Park, but his title defence came to an end with a loss to Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.
