At 23 years of age, Lorenzo Musetti has already carved out an impressive career for himself.
The Italian star has claimed two ATP titles on the tour and reached two Grand Slam semifinals.
Musetti made the final four at Wimbledon during the 2024 season and advanced to the penultimate stage at Roland Garros in 2025.

During his run at the Australian Open earlier this year, he reached a career-high ranking of fifth in the world.
However, Musetti revealed that his greatest achievement in tennis so far is none of the above.
Who is the best ATP player never to win a Grand Slam title?
Is it Alexander Zverev, Marcelo Rios, Tomas Berdych, David Ferrer or maybe even someone else?
Lorenzo Musetti discusses his career achievements so far
When asked in an episode of ‘The Sit-Down‘ what his greatest achievement is, Musetti responded: “I think in terms of achievement and, you know, satisfaction, I think the bronze [medal].”
Musetti claimed a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, having defeated Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime in the third-place match.
He said of the feat: “The Olympic bronze is something really… I don’t know, I was playing for my country. It was in a moment that I would never expect, you know, to go till then.

“But in terms of, you know, stats, the top five. But as I said on court, I don’t feel like it’s a finishing point, it’s a starting point for me, in my head.
“Maybe I will never, you know, go higher, but my mentality is trying, you know, to go higher and to make that happen even soon.”
Lorenzo Musetti’s Australian Open campaign this year
The Australian Open was one of two tournaments that Musetti has entered this year, and it was going incredibly well for him.
After reaching the final of the Hong Kong Open, Musetti won his first four matches at Melbourne Park, including a straight-sets win over Taylor Fritz.
In the quarterfinals, Musetti was faced with Novak Djokovic, against whom he took a convincing two-set lead.

But in the third set, just as he was closing in on victory, Musetti was forced to retire due to injury, citing pain in his leg.
Musetti has not appeared at a tour-level event since the setback Down Under.
