Laura Robson thinks Emma Raducanu should be cautious in her approach to hiring a new coach.
The 22-year-old is still on the hunt for a new member of her team after Nick Cavday stepped down from his role to focus on his health.
The former British number one has gone through multiple coaching changes since her stunning US Open victory in 2021.
This certainly has not helped Emma Raducanu‘s growth as a player, in addition to the plethora of injuries she has sustained, but she is hoping for more stability and consistency as the season goes on.

How does Laura Robson think Emma Raducanu should approach finding a new coach?
Following her US Open success in 2021 Raducanu has been coached by Cavaday, Sebastian Sachs, Nigel Sears, Andrew Richardson, Torben Beltz and Dmitry Tursunov.
After becoming an overnight superstar at such a young age with very little experience, Raducanu needed some stability in her team to help her manage the pressure and expectations.
This and a lack of matches have contributed to her inability to rediscover the form that took her to the title at Flushing Meadows.
As she looks for what she hopes will be a long-term coach, her compatriot and former player Laura Robson thinks she needs to be careful and cautious with who she hires.
“Emma Raducanu has been out in the Middle East trying to build on the form we saw from her in Australia” she wrote in her Sky Sports column. “She is competing really well and making sure she’s trying to do the right things on the court.
“I don’t think she’s in any rush, really, to employ someone new, just for the sake of it. It has to make sense for her and it has to be the right person.
“There’s not too many amazing coaches around who can travel full-time, so options are pretty limited. You wouldn’t want to go into a new partnership without 100 per cent confidence.”
