Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have won every big title available so far in 2026.
Alcaraz secured the Australian Open crown earlier this year to complete the Career Grand Slam, while Sinner has won three consecutive ATP Masters 1000 trophies.
The ‘new two’ are head and shoulders above everyone else on the ATP Tour, and look set to dominate at majors for the foreseeable future.
Will Jannik Sinner win more Grand Slams than Carlos Alcaraz in 2026?
Which Grand Slams will Jannik Sinner win this year?
With four and seven, respectively, Sinner and Alcaraz have already surpassed the Grand Slam tallies of several tennis legends.
They are both on track to get close to the totals of Roger Federer (20), Rafael Nadal (22) and Novak Djokovic (24), which Juan Martin Del Potro suggested was very possible.

Juan Martin Del Potro discusses Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner
In an interview with Tennis 365, Del Potro said: “Of course, Carlitos and Jannik are playing magnificent tennis. They are so good, they are playing well on all surfaces, which is very important.
“But I can’t compare them with the Big Three. The other guys, for me, are very special.
“I played my whole career with them. I know how good they are, how difficult it was to achieve everything that they have done for tennis.
What would the score be if Carlos Alcaraz faced prime Roger Federer?
Who is winning and in how many sets?
“I also know that Carlitos and Jannik have a big opportunity to get closer to them, because tennis now is open, and they are playing much better than the rest.
“So in my point of view, they have big chances to keep winning the big tournaments.”

Carlos Alcaraz has the best chance to break Novak Djokovic’s record
While it is entirely possible that Sinner will finish his career with more majors, Alcaraz is certainly the current favourite to do so.
The Spaniard is still just 22 years of age, and already has seven Grand Slams to his name, which is as many as John McEnroe.
Alcaraz is currently averaging two Grand Slam titles per year, and if he continues this rate, he will match the totals of the ‘big three’ by his early 30s.
Of course, Alcaraz will need to stay injury-free and produce the same level of longevity that Djokovic, Nadal and Federer delivered.
It will also be dependent on how many big stars emerge in the future, as he and Sinner are the only serious contenders at majors currently.
